24387 Trettel (provisional designation: 2000 AB174) is a main-belt minor planet. It was discovered by the Lincoln Near-Earth Asteroid Research project in Socorro, New Mexico, on January 7, 2000. It is named after Stephen Jerome Trettel, an American high school student whose electrical and mechanical engineering project won first place at the 2008 Intel International Science and Engineering Fair.
